Membrana Launches NEW Liqui-Flux® 75 m2 Ultrafiltration Module at IFAT 2010

August 27, 2010
Membrana, a market leader in membrane technology, is pleased to announce that it will introduce a new Liqui-Flux® ultrafiltration module with a total membrane area of 75 sqm. This product introduction will take place at IFAT 2010 in Munich Germany in September.
This pressure driven module engineered with inside-out flow is one of the largest ultrafiltration modules of its kind. It contains a higher membrane surface area compared to any other hollow fiber ultrafiltration module available today. Higher surface area allows Liqui-Flux® ultrafiltration modules to have a smaller system foot print and lower unit capital costs. In addition, Liqui-Flux® Modules combine excellent membrane and module durability with low operating costs.
UltraPESTM polyethersulfone hollow fiber membrane is the heart of the Liqui-Flux® module. This membrane has a distinct 3-Layer structure, which provides superior permeability and strength. Additionally, UltraPES membrane is extremely hydrophilic and exhibits excellent chemical resistance.
Over the last several years, Membrana has been successful in installing Liqui-Flux® filtration modules in a variety of applications such as drinking water and waste water re-use.
